Rotary Club hosts 6 KHS seniors
Six Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining the local civic group were Diego Munoz, Hunter Delozier, Hennesy Cardenas, Ruby Camarena, Nathaniel Derrick and Dallen Barton.
Munoz is the son Gonzalo and Mercedes Munoz.
He’s active soccer, football and is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.
Munoz is also involved in rodeo and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
He plans to enter the workforce, then attend college at a later time to pursue a career as an equine veterinarian.
Delozier is the son of Mike and Erin Delozier and Brian and Jennifer Peterman.
He’s active in baseball, football and is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.
Delozier plans to enter the workforce and pursue a career as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper at a later time.
Cardenas is the daughter of Cristina Aguilar.
She’s is a member of the National Technical Honor Society and has received 6g stick and 3g Tig certifications in welding.
Cardenas plans to enter the workforce and pursue a career in welding.
Camarena is the daughter of Jesus Camarena and Leticia Camarena.
She’s a member of the National Technical Honor Society and National Honor Society.
Camarena plans to attend Rose State College and pursue a career as a radiology technologist.
Derrick is the son of Jesse and Heather Derrick.
He’s active in baseball, wrote a story which was published and is involved in LifeWay Church.
Derrick plans to enlist in the Navy.
Barton is the son of Jason Barton and Shawna Hennigh.
He’s active in baseball, football and is listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll.
Barton plans to pursue a career in the family farming operation.
