Rotary Club hosts 6 KHS seniors
Six Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining the local civic group were Hayden Green, Santiago Ortega, Maddox Jarvis, Evan Duey, Paytun Burnham and Jairo Velarde.
Green is the son of Randy Green and Claudia Green.
He’s active in soccer and is the chief photographer for KHS Photography.
Green is also involved in Dover Christian Church.
He plans to pursue a career as an electrician or in the oil and gas industry.
Ortega is the son of Carmen Ortega.
He’s active in football, soccer and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Ortega plans to enter the workforce in the oil and gas industry and train racehorses.
Jarvis is the son of Jared and Jenny Snow.
He’s active in basketball and soccer.
Jarvis is also involved in Kingfisher First Baptist Church.
He plans to pursue a career in real estate.
Duey is the son of James and Erin Duey.
He’s active in the First Baptist Church.
Duey plans to enter the workforce in the oil and gas industry or construction.
Burnham is the son of Chad and Kristina Burn- ham.
He’s active in football and golf.
Burnham also is involved in Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
He plans to attend Oklahoma State University, major in finance and pursue a career as a financial advisor.
Velarde is the son of Luz and Gregoria Velarde.
He’s active in football and soccer and is a starter on both varsity teams.
Velarde is also involved in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
