Kingfisher Rotary Club hosted five seniors from Kingfisher High School at its recent meeting.

Joining the civic group were Hope Stafford, Mya Dewberry, Cheyenne Kiser, Gentry Taylor and Hallie Barton.

Stafford is the daughter of Jeremy and Shawna Stafford.

She’s active in softball and FCCLA.

Stafford plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College- Stillwater and work toward a degree in nursing.

Dewberry is the daughter of Alicia Southern and Greg Dewberry.

She’s active in basketball, softball, soccer, Student Council and has been inducted into the National Honor Society.

Dewberry said she plans to attend college and study to be an athletic trainer or physical therapist.

Kiser is the daughter of Melissa and Earl Kiser.

She’s active in Student Council, FCA and Skills USA and is taking cosmetology classes at Chisholm Trail Technology Center.

Kiser said she’ll pursue a career as a cosmetologist after high school.

Taylor is the daughter of Monty and Lyndsi Taylor.

She’s active in Student Council, softball and tennis.

Taylor plans to obtain her real estate license after high school and pursue a career in that field.

Barton is the daughter of Julie Barton and Kenny Barton.

She’s also taking cosmetology classes at CTTC and was named Student of the Quarter previously.

Barton said she plans to study business in college as well as further her track career.
