Rotary Club hosts pair of KHS seniors

Two Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Hubert Haag and Alondra Ortega.

Haag is the son of Mack Haag and Tony Haag.

He’s active in football, wrestling, baseball and FFA.

Haag is also involved in the welding program at Chisholm Trail Technology Center and has earned 3G stick certification and 3G combination certification and attends All Nations Baptist Church.

He plans to earn a CDL at CTTC and either attend college or enter the workforce as a welder.

Ortega is the daughter of Jose Ortega and Hilda Garcia.

She’s a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society and is a soccer manager and wrestling manager.

Ortega also attends Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

She plans to attend college and major in marketing, while also pursuing a career in cosmetology.
