Rotary Club welcomes six Kingfisher seniors

Six Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Lola Iniguez, Croston Martin, Breahnna Hux, Joseph Homier, Haleigh Eaton and Vann Burgess.

Iniguez is the daughter of Amber Mueggenborg.

She’s a manager for the boys soccer team and attends Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Iniguez plans to attend college and pursue a career as an ultrasound technician.

Martin is the son of Caleigh Martin and Joshua Martin.

He’s active in basketball, Houston Hoops EYBL AAU basketball program and attends Life.Church.

Martin plans to attend college and be a member on the basketball team.

Hux is the daughter of Robyn Mercer and Jeffrey Hux.

She’s active in STUCO, FCCLA and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society and National Honor Society.

Hux is also a manager on the boys soccer team, involved in the nursing program at Chisholm Trail Technology Center and attends Life.Church. She plans to pursue a career as an ultrasound technician.

Homier is the son of Roy Homier and Barbara Homier.

He was an American Legion Boys State delegate and attends the Nazarene Church.

Homier plans to establish an online coaching business and pursue a career as a professional wrestler.

Eaton is the daughter of Shandra Eaton and Lawrence Eaton.

She’s active in cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 regional and state championship team.

Eaton also attends Kingfi sher Federated Church.

She plans to pursue a career in real estate.

Burgess is the son of Cindi Burgess and Will Burgess.

He’s active in cross country and pre-engineering.

Burgess placed second in engineering at the SWOSU district meet and seventh place at the state meet in engineering/electrical.

He plans to further his education in mechanics and engineering and then pursue a degree in architecture.
