Rotary hosts 4 KHS seniors
Four Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club. Joining the local civic group were Deacon Harjo, Donte Almanzar, Alex Montiel and Joaquin Wallace.
Harjo is the son of Desirae and Ira Horse. He’s active in FCCLA, track, E-sports and Kingfi sher Fire Academy. He plans to enlist in the National Guard and pursue a career as a firefighter.
Almanzar is the son of Shayla Johnson and Marcus Almanzar. He’s active in soccer, KHS Photography and is president of FCCLA. Almanzar plans to attend Redlands Community College and major in graphic design.
Montiel is the son of Patricia Celiz and Isidro Montiel. He’s active in soccer. Montiel plans to attend Canadian Valley Technology Center and pursue a career as an electrician.
Wallace is the son of Carl and Francis Wallace. He’s active in soccer, basketball, band and is a member of the National Honor Society. Wallace was named a Student of the Month, earned first place in accounting and general business at the Southwestern Interscholastic Meet and attends the First Assembly of God Church. He plans to attend the University of Central Oklahoma and major in accounting.
