State Secretary of Education Nellie Sanders is the guest speaker for an upcoming National Day of Prayer event in Kingfisher.

Sanders will speak at the service planned at noon Thursday, May 2, at the Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene, 414 Hill Drive.

The event is open to the public and lunch will be provided.

The service is sponsored by the Kingfisher Ministerial Alliance.
