Beth Schieber, Beta Beta Chapter president and board of directors member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Educators Foundation, recently attended the International Conference in Portland, Ore.

While there, she attended a workshop on Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised in Brief (third edition) and took and passed with a 100% the National Association of Parliamentarians membership examination and gained membership in this organization.

Schieber also presented a workshop on the DKG International Educators Foundation which supports effective educational projects, the educational and charitable activities of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and professional growth of educators worldwide.

There are nine funds under the management of the Foundation. The chief goal of the foundation is “to educate the world” and this year, July 1, 2020-June 1, 2021, the foundation’s entities granted a total of $250,624.74.

Beta Beta Chapter is part of the Oklahoma State Organization of DKG, which is a women’s educators honor organization with members in all fifty states and 17 foreign countries.

Schieber has also served as state president and southwest regional director. She now serves as state editor and chapter president.
