Kingfisher High School seniors Kale Hart and Harley Schlegel are the April 2024 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.

Hart is the son of Chad and Becky Hart.

He’s active in track, golf, cross country, basketball, football and advanced robotics.

Hart is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, was an Oklahoma American Legion Boys State delegate and participated in the chemistry and psychology categories of the Southwestern Interscholastic Meet.

He plans to attend Redlands Community College and then transfer to Southwestern Oklahoma State University or the University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a degree in psychology.

Schlegel is the daughter of Aaron and Nikole Schlegel.

She’s active in cheer-leading, STUCO, Students Stepping Up, FCA and was a member of the 2023 Class 4A cheerleading state championship team and the 2021 4A cheerleading academic state championship team.

Schlegel is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, on the yearbook staff, has received the 4.0 Award and Academic Award and attends Life.Church.

She plans to attend UCO and pursue a degree in nursing, specializing in the area of labor and delivery.
