School board races develop

School board races have developed for open seats at Kingfisher, Dover and Okarche, while candidates at four others filed without opposition.

Races that will appear on the April 4 general election ballot include:

Kingfisher – Brad Wittrock and Mitch Massey.

Dover – Shawn Walker, incumbent, and Michael Winn.

Okarche – Mike Krittenbrink, incumbent, and Joe Alig. Candidates who automatically will win election include:

Cashion – Jessica Ballard, incumbent, Seat 3; Jacob Kale McKeever, Seat 5 (unexpired).

Hennessey – Luke Lough, incumbent.

Lomega – Justin Glazier of Loyal, incumbent.

Chisholm Trail Technology Center – Dustin Brodrick. Some county voters may also cast ballots in races in neighboring school districts that overlap the county line, including:

Piedmont – Greg Duffy and Derek Jones.

Crescent – Kevin S. Armer and Brian Dalke.

Okeene – Bennet Peters and Sandy Boeckman.

Cimarron – Chris Patterson of Ames and Gary Naugle of Lahoma.

Other candidates elected without opposition in districts that overlap the county line include:

Drummond – Forrest Mann.

Covington- Douglas – Ross W. Gregg of Lucien.

Autry Technology Center – Roxanne Pollard, Waukomis.

Canadian Valley Technology Center – Penny Jones, Oklahoma City.

Francis Tuttle Technology Center – Dave Gillogly, Edmond.
