School board races develop in early filings
Races have developed for two county school board seats after the first day of the filing period.
Filing began Monday and ran through 5 p.m. Wednesday (after press time) for the seats opening up on all six county public school boards as well as Chisholm Trail Technology Center.
Incumbent Jeff Hyatt has filed again for that CTTC seat, according to the Kingfisher County Election Board.
Incumbents have also filed in Okarche, Hennessey and Lomega.
In Okarche, Ryan McIlvain is the incumbent and filed for re-election.
Also fi ling for that seat was John Pinkerton.
A race developed in Hennessey where Amy Charmasson is the incumbent. She has filed as has Doyle Miller.
Incumbent Julie Myers filed for the Lomega seat.
No filings had been made for seats in Dover, Cashion or Kingfi sher as of press time of this edition.
