Kingfisher High School seniors Ivy Hartman and Dustyn McLean have been announced as the Junior Lions for December 2022.

The two were guests last Thursday at the Kingfi sher Lions Club’s weekly meeting.

Hartman is the daughter of Chad and Leah Hartman.

She is the chapter president of Kingfisher FFA, captain of the cheerleading team, senior class Student Council representative and is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

She was a part of the conduct of chapter meetings team that took third place at the national competition and a member of the national finalist parliamentary procedure team.

Hartman has been named a National Merit Commended Scholar and a National Merit Rural and Small Town Scholar.

Hartman plans to attend Oklahoma State University where she will major in bio-mechanical and molecular biology before attending medical school.

McLean is the son of Ron and Amber McLean.

He is the chapter historian for Kingfisher FFA.

He’s also a member of Student Council, the National Honor Society and was an Oklahoma Boys State delegate.

He is a five-time state champion in FFA contests and a three-time national qualifier.

McLean was awarded the Washington Leadership Conference scholarship and has qualified for Academic All-State.

He also plans to attend OSU and will major in animal science and meat science.
