Kingfisher High School seniors Jayden Burleson and Matthew Miller were announced as the Junior Lions for May 2022.

Burleson is the daughter of Charles and Rhiannon Snyder.

She’s a member of the academic bowl team, Spanish Club, History Club, Student Council, yearbook staff and was the previous editor-in-chief of the school newspaper.

She has been named to multiple honor rolls, earned a perfect attendance award and has been named Student of the Month at KHS.

Burleson plans to attend Redlands Community College after high school.

Miller is the son of Brian and Sharon Miller.

His honors include National Technical Honor Society, KHS Meritorious Achievement, KHS Academic Award and numerous photography awards.

He has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Miller is the chief photographer of KHS Photography and is a member of the academic bowl team, Business Professionals of America, Technology Student Association and takes computer networking and repair classes at Chisholm Trail Technology Center.

Miller plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University to work toward a degree in business administration.
