Kingfisher High School seniors Allyson Scammahorn and Slade Snodgrass were recently named the September 2021 Junior Lions.

The two were guests last week of the Kingfisher Lions Club.

Scammahorn is the daughter of Erin and Shawn Scammahorn.

She’s active in FFA, Student Council, track and is a softball manager. She’s also participated in cross country. Scammahorn has been

Scammahorn has been named KHS Student of the Month and earned the Senior Showmanship honor at the Kingfisher County Fair.

Scammahorn plans to attend OSU-OKC and enter the nursing program.

Her career goal is to be a travel labor and delivery nurse.

Snodgrass is the son of Mark and Angie Snodgrass.

He is active in Student Council, FCA, football and baseball.

He’s been named to the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.

Snodgrass has also earned the 4.0 Award, United States Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award and has been named KHS Student of the Month.

He plans to attend college and pursue a career in dentistry.
