Snow falls under projections
A sneaky one-inch to two-inch snow slipped into Kingfisher County Sunday evening.
On top of a day of light rain on Sunday, the total moisture from the weekend totaled .62 inch at the National Weather Service station manned by Local Weather Observer Steve Loftis.
Area wheat fields had spots standing in water after the precipitation visit.
The Mesonet station west of Kingfisher on the Mueggenborg farm recorded .76 inch for the weekend.
Other area Mesonet reports included: Guthrie, .67 inch; El Reno, 81 inch; Marshall, .24 inch; Watonga, .27 inch, and Yukon, .91 inch.
The heaviest moisture in the state as recorded on the Mesonet was at Seminole, where 1.42 inches of rain fell.
