The top team for the first week of the Kingfisher County Walk-tober step challenge sponsored by Kingfisher Community Collaborative is Kingfisher Training, with an average of 162,605.08 steps per teammember over the first seven days. That translates to an approximate average of more than 11 miles per person each day. KCC co-chairman Blair Coughlan, far left, presented firstweek prizes to team members Mandy Horn, Krista Peck, Summer Scott (holding daughter Charlie) and Matt Scott. Not pictured is Melissa Farrar. Teams with the most steps each week will win prizes and then the team with the highest cumulative average steps as of Oct. 31 will be awarded a traveling trophy. A total of 113 walkers in 26 teams are competing in the first-ever event. The top five individuals after week 1 appear in the leader board below:
