Stroh announces candidacy for court clerk

[ Ed. note: Lauren Stroh has authorized the Times & Free Press to publish the following paid political announcement of her candidacy for Kingfisher County Court Clerk, subject to the June 18 Republican primary election.]

I, Lauren Stroh, have filed to run for Kingfisher County Court Clerk.

I live in Okarche with my husband Zac. We have two young boys who keep us on our toes.

I have called Kingfisher County home my entire life.

I grew up east of Okarche on a dairy farm. I graduated from Okarche High School in 2009 and then went on and received my bachelor’s from the University of Central Oklahoma.

I have been working in the Canadian County Court Clerk’s office since.

I initially started in the records division and moved to the civil side where I became the Family Domestic Deputy Clerk.

I work with the judges, bailiffs, sheriffs and advocates to make the court process for domestic violence cases a smooth process for victims.

With new laws and statutes constantly changing, the court clerk’s office must comply and structure new policies and procedures that are most efficient for all that file and judges as well.

I have learned so much these past eight years being in the fast-paced environment of the fourth-largest county in the state.

A strong work ethic, dedication and patience are some of the top characteris-tics you need when being a public servant and my work experience has prepared me for that.

I am ready to be your next Kingfisher County Court Clerk and serve this county diligently. I would love to have your vote.
