Kingfisher High School Student Council will be collecting pop tabs.

At the end of the semester, members will be taking them to the Ronald Mc-Donald House for their charity.

“We have drop-off containers at all of the district schools,” said Amy Pearson, KHS Student Council co-adviser.

“We would love for the community to participate in this with us.”

The Ronald McDonald House collects the tabs and exchanges them for money. According to its website, it takes approximately 1,128 tabs to equal one pound and it receives between $.40 and $.50 per pound of tabs.
