Theta Tau meets, installs officers at latest meeting

Theta Tau Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International met at the home of Cynthia Eaton for its yearend social and installation of officers at 6 p.m. Monday, June 7.

The Social Committee furnished the meal consisting of a Mexican menu.

The installation cake was baked by Eaton and was served after installation.

Cathy and Doc Holsted, Ramona Paine, Rod Means and Dana Terrell attended the state convention May 14-15 at the Doubletree Hotel in Tulsa.

Paine, ESA for St. Jude, and Terrell, awards chairman, presented awards at the luncheon.

Theta Tau received several awards at the luncheon: Disaster Fund, second place; ESA for St. Jude-ALSAC event, third place; Easter Seals, second place; ESA Foundation, third place; Hope for Heroes, most money donated and most donated value, first place; philanthropic hours, third place; and philanthropic money, third place.

Theta Tau also placed for the state projects.

Cathy Holsted, installing officer, installed the following officers: Karen Castonguay, president; Paige Kraus, vice president; Dana Terrell, secretary; Cathy Holsted, treasurer; Terri Peck, educational director; and Cynthia Eaton, parliamentarian.

Castonguay’s theme is “Come Enjoy Theta Tau Fiesta.”

Members then exchanged secret sister gifts for the year and new names were drawn.

Members attending were: Cynthia Eaton, Stormy Simmons, Misty Blundell, Cathy Holsted, Dana Terrell, Terri Peck, Karen Castonguay, Ramona Paine, Paige Kraus, Madell Henderson, LaVenia Boutwell, Donna McPherson and Debi Trout.
