Theta Tau Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha met in the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19.

President Paige Kraus opened the meeting with the ritual and conducted the business meeting.

Madell Henderson gave the devotional.

Cathy and Doc Holsted attended IC Convention in July in Indianapolis.

Cathy Holsted attended June State Council meeting in Norman. She also attended the Western District meeting in Norman where she took two auction items, a door prize, two packages of socks and three desserts for the bake sale.

The funds raised will be used to fund the group’s district project “Shoes that Fit.”

Cathy Holsted and Stormy Simmons took items to the state project for the Oklahoma School for the Deaf at Sulphur. They took glue, glue sticks, pens, Clorox wipes and Kleenex.

Members worked the Dream Home in Edmond in August.

Dues were paid. Chapter shirts were received, yearbooks were updated and put in a three-ring notebook.

A special thanks was given to Cathy Holsted for doing a great job on the yearbooks.

Each member received an ink pen representing the state president’s theme (diamond head) and the chapter president’s theme (cowgirl).

This year the club will not be having a donation jar passed around at the meeting.

Members’ new project will be a dinner at Holsted’s home in Yukon to do the $50 for 50 St. Jude event. The Social Committee will be in charge of the planning with a date to be announced.

October has been designated as the month for making Aunt Bill’s candy and November for making Amish bread.

The group will have a booth at Winterfest in December to sell bread, Aunt Bill’s and cinnamon rolls.

Terri Peck, educational director, told members the educational theme this year will be “Women in Agriculture.”

The next meeting will be Oct. 17 at the church.

The members did the closing ritual and the meeting was adjourned.
