Theta Tau members wrap up busy holiday season

By

Theta Tau Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha has had a busy holiday season by baking bread, cinnamon rolls and making a monetary donation to Santa’s Toyland.

At the November meeting, the members gathered for a photo of them presenting a check to - and filled Christmas stockings for Brittney Hladik of Santa’s Toyland.

Stormy Simmons, president, conducted the business meeting.

Beth Schieber, chaplain, gave the devotional “Lessons of the Geese” and handed out “30 Days of Gratitude” ideas.

Jim Eaton, Cynthia Eaton and Terri Peck will work on a centerpiece design for Theta Tau’s table at state convention in April with the theme “World’s Fair.” Those chapters designing a centerpiece will be entered in a contest.

On Dec. 15, the Social Committee hosted the chapter social at the home of Eaton and the members had their secret sister gift exchange. The Social Committee members are: Karen Castonguay, Karen Hubbard, Peck, Terri Stake, Paige Kraus, Beth Schieber and Dana Terrell.

Those members dining on soup, cornbread and sides other than the Social Committee were: Donna McPherson and her sister Sheryl Best, Ramona Paine, Simmons, Cathy Holsted, Allie Carter and daughter Avery, Misty Blundell, Debi Trout and Karen Edgar.

The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
