The Christmas spirit overfl owed at the Center of Family Love in Okarche when Apron Annies HCE hosted a holiday party for residents Monday evening. The event included the residents singing Christmas carols with the Annies, refreshments, and the best surprise – a visit from Santa and one of his favorite reindeer. Santa’s helpers and party hosts included Annies members Delinda Barnett, Mary Nell Brueggen, Christie Hufnagel, Connie Maass, Janet Renner, Dannette Wittrock, Jan Wittrock, and Juanita Krittenbrink, assisted by Pat Brueggen, Jim Wittrock, Joe Wittrock, and Mike Krittenbrink. The joy and excitement CFL residents experienced is clearly refl ected on Tristan’s face (seated, as his friend Craig walks away from a visit with Santa). But Juanita Krittenbrink said the party is an annual highlight for club members as well. “I really don’t know who has the better time, the residents or us,” she said. “It’s truly the meaning of Christmas – the most wonderful time of the year.” [Photo Provided ]
