The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

August 6 - At South 13th Street and West Fay Avenue. Lindsay Kopp, 40, Kingfisher, driving a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, was northbound in the outside lane of South 13th Street near the Fay Avenue intersection.

A 17-year-old male driver, Kingfisher, driving a 2021 Nissan, was northbound in the inside lane of South 13th Street. The 17-year-old driver’s vehicle attempted to make a right turn onto West Fay Avenue and struck the Kopp vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
