The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

October 15, 7:15 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive.

A 17-year-old female, Okarche, driving a 2021 Ford Mustang, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped at the intersection of Starlite Drive.

Joshua Powell, 39, Edmond, driving a 2014 Kia, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped directly behind the 17-year-old’s vehicle.

According to the report, the Powell vehicle rolled forward and struck the rear of the 17-year-old’s vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
