The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: May 27, 11:47 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and East Fay Avenue.

Annalesa Summers, 26, Clovis, N.M., driving a 2014 Harley Davidson, was northbound on U.S. 81 near Fay Avenue.

According to the report, the Summers vehicle was following another motorcycle and had to apply the brake when the motorcycle turned right onto East Fay Avenue.

The Summers vehicle also turned right onto Fay Avenue, but “lost control and laid the motorcycle over,” the report said.

Minor damage was reported to Summers’ motorcycle.

Summers sustained non-incapacitating head, arm and leg injuries and was transported via private vehicle to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for evaluation, according to the report.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
