Traffic accident investigated

The following traffic accidents is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

June 27, 4:52 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.

Kayla Snook, 26, Kingfisher, driving a 2003 Dodge Ram, was entering the Walmart parking lot on the east side.

According to the report, the Snook vehicle veered left to avoid an oncoming vehicle and struck a pole.

Disabling damage was reported to the Snook vehicle.

Two minor children were secured in their carseats and sustained possible external trunk injuries.

Emergency personnel was dispatched to the scene.

Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident. her food stamp card.

According to the report, the patient advocate provided a Walmart receipt from May 16, in which a First Shamrock employee purchased items for the resident on the food stamp card.

The resident discovered $261.03 of unauthorized purchases on the card as well, according to the report.

Conner spoke to the suspect, who initially denied making unauthorized purchases, but admitted to the theft when the officer suggested he could retrieve surveillance footage of the transaction, the report said.
