The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

June 7, 11 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Mitchell Avenue.

Shawn Kincheloe, 44, Kingfisher, driving a tractor with brush-hog (owned by the City of Kingfisher), was mowing the median of U.S. 81 east of Mitchell Avenue.

Tereca George-Jackson, 56, Okeene, driving a 2015 Ford F150, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.

Trevor Woods, 26, Kingfisher, driving a 1991 Nissan, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 behind the George-Jackson vehicle.

According to the report, the Kincheloe vehicle entered the inside lane of southbound U.S. 81 while attempting to turn the tractor.

The George-Jackson vehicle attempted to change lanes to avoid the tractor, but had to apply the brakes in order to avoid a collision, the report said.

The Woods vehicle also applied the brakes, but was unable to stop and struck the George-Jackson vehicle in the rear, according to the report.

Disabling damage was reported to the Woods vehicle and minor damage to the George-Jackson vehicle.

Woods sustained possible leg injuries and no other injuries were reported.

Officer Tyler Girten investigated the accident.
