Traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
June 9, 1:50 p.m. - At 205 W. Will Rogers Drive.
Tammie Bowden, 62, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 GMC, was attempting to park in the Edward Jones parking lot and accelerated, which caused the vehicle to jump the curb and strike the building.
No damage was reported to the Bowden vehicle, but damage was reported to the inside and outside of the Edward Jones building.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Justin Conner investigated the accident.
June 12, 12:40 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.
Martina Miller, 44, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Land Rover Ranger, was backing out of a parking space at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.
Heather Boeckman, 46, Okeene, driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, was also backing out a parking space at Walmart.
Officer Aaron Schlegel said in his report that after reviewing surveillance footage he determined the Miller vehicle was backing out of a parking space, stopped for pedestrians, then continued backing and the Boeckman vehicle had then began to back out of a parking space and struck the Miller vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
June 18, 3:30 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Angela Davis, 64, Edmond, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado towing a hay rake, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 at the intersection of S.H. 33.
Chris Daugherty, 60, Luther, driving a 2015 Kenworth, was stopped in the northbound left turn lane of U.S. 81 at the intersection of S.H. 33.
According to the report, as the Davis vehicle proceeded southbound through the intersection the hay rake struck the driver’s side of the Daugherty vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Daugherty vehicle and no damage to the Davis vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

June 19, 1:32 p.m. - At 102 W. Will Rogers Drive. Raul Gallegos-Bretado, 43, Wichita, Kan., was parked in the parking lot.
A 16-year-old driver, Kingfisher, driving a 2008 Toyota, was attempting to park in a parking space and struck the Gallegos-Bretado vehicle in the driver’s side wheel.
Minor damage was reported to the 16-year old’s vehicle and no damage to the Gallegos-Bretado vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
