The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

June 28, 3 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.

Lora Conkling, 43, Fairview, driving a 2018 Ford Expedition, was parked parallel along the east side of U.S. 81 in front of Physical Therapy Central.

Merle Perry, 65, Hennessey, driving a 2019 Ford F250, attempted to parallel park along the east side of U.S. 81 and struck the Conkling vehicle.

According to the report, the Perry vehicle backed into the Conkling vehicle three times and then left the scene and parked in the alley behind Physical Therapy Central.

Minor damage was reported to the Conkling vehicle and no damage to the Perry vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Tyler Girten investigated the accident.

June 30, 12:33 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Victory Lane.

David Free, 49, Kingfisher, driving a 1990 Chevrolet, was northbound on U.S. 81 and attempted to make a left turn onto westbound Victory Lane.

According to the report, the Free vehicle left the roadway and struck a cement culvert becoming stuck in the ditch.

Disabling damage was reported to the Free vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officer Tyler Girten investigated the accident.

June 30, 2:07 p.m. - At S.H. 33 and Seventh Street.

Leobardo Mier Chavez, 57, Hennessey, driving a 2005 International dump truck, was westbound on S.H. 33.

Kim Snyder, 47, Calumet, driving a 2018 Ford Escape, was westbound on S.H. 33 behind the Chavez vehicle.

According to the report, the Chavez vehicle (an ODOT truck with emergency lights in operation) slowed near Cattlemen’s Inn to make asphalt repairs to the roadway.

The Snyder vehicle failed to yield and struck the Chavez vehicle in the rear, the report said.

Disabling damage was reported to the Snyder vehicle and minor damage to the Chavez vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

June 30, 5:30 p.m. - At West Chisholm Avenue and Seventh Street.

Anna Meraz, 25, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz, was parked eastbound along the curb on West Chisholm Drive.

Adam Bedford, 18, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, was parked in the driveway of his residence on West Chisholm Drive.

According to the report, the Bedford vehicle backed out of the driveway and struck the Meraz vehicle in the driver’s side door.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.
