The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

March 18, 3:21 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.

Dennis Gruntmeir, 70, Kingfisher, driving a 1996 Chevrolet, was in the outside northbound lane of U.S. 81 near the intersection of S.H. 33.

James Binder, 54, Edmond, driving a 2020 Kenworth, was in the left turning lane of southbound U.S. 81.

According to the report, the Gruntmeir vehicle attempted to make a right turn into the inside eastbound lane of S.H. 33. At the same time, the Binder vehicle was making a left turn into the eastbound inside lane of S.H. 33.

The Gruntmeir vehicle struck the Binder vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Officer Brandon Chapman investigated the accident.

March 18, 3:58 p.m. - At 1615 S. Main St.

Kenneth Wright, 82, Kingfisher, driving a 2002 Ford F150, was parked in a handicap parking space at Braum’s parking lot.

Randee Price, 37, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Dodge Durango, was westbound in the parking lot and stopped behind the Wright vehicle to let a passenger exit the vehicle.

According to the report, the Wright vehicle attempted to back out of the parking space and struck the Price vehicle.

No damage was reported to the Wright vehicle and functional damage to the Price vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Justin Conner investigated the accident.

March 20, 3:37 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.

Rebecca Hart, 50, Kingfisher, driving a 2011 GMC Yukon, was parked in the Walmart parking lot.

Traci Reherman, 33, Kingfisher, driving a 2012 Chevrolet, was parked in the Walmart parking lot adjacent to the Hart vehicle.

According to the report, Reherman stated Hart opened her vehicle’s driver’s side door and it struck the passenger side of the Reherman vehicle and the Hart vehicle left the scene.

Officer Tyler Girten said his report that he made contact with Hart and was unable to observe any damage or paint transfer on her vehicle.
