Traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: May 30, 11:36 a.m. - At 1306 S. Main St.
Lisa Wilkinson, 57, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 BMW X5, was stopped in the Braum’s drive-thru lane.
Dalton Nix, 32, El Reno, driving a 2018 Ford F350, was traveling around the drive-thru lane.
According to the report, the Nix vehicle, which was towing a trailer, struck the front passenger side of the Wilkinson vehicle, but left the scene.
Captain Travis Gray reviewed store surveillance video and made contact with Nix who stated he was unaware his trailer had struck Wilkinson’s vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Wilkinson vehicle and unknown damage to the Nix vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
June 1, 11 p.m. - At South 13th Street and Clark Drive.
Aaron Vorderlandwehr, 28, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Ford F150, was parked on the south side of Clark Drive.
A 17-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Toyota Corolla, was eastbound on Clark Drive and struck the Vorderlandwehr vehicle.
According to the report, the 17-year-old female left the scene “because she was scared and out past her curfew,” but informed her mother of the incident and they returned to make contact with Vorderlandwehr the following morning.
Minor damage was reported to the Vorderlandwehr vehicle and functional damage to the 17-year-old’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

June 2, 2:26 p.m. - 602 S. Main St.
David Hartzell, 60, Kingfi sher, driving a 2018 Dodge van, was parked in the alley behind 602 S. Main St.
William Williams, 70, Kingfisher, driving a 1992 Case tractor, was moving dirt in the backyard of 121 W. Erwin Ave. and backed into the Hartzell van.
Minor damage was reported to the Hartzell vehicle and no damage the Williams tractor.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
June 2, 3:30 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and West Overstreet Avenue.
Denise Bradford, 49, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Ford Focus, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped to make a left turn onto westbound Overstreet Avenue.
Isaac Wilson, 24, Oklahoma City, driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue, was also northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 behind the Bradford vehicle.
According to the report, the Wilson vehicle struck the Bradford vehicle in the rear.
Bradford sustained possible unknown injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for evaluation.
Functional damage was reported to the Bradford vehicle and disabling damage to the Wilson vehicle.
