Traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: February 22, 4:50 p.m. At East Miles Avenue and North Fourth Street.
Andrew Richardson, 33, Kingfisher, driving a 2003 Honda Pilot, was eastbound on Miles Avenue.
According to the report, the Richardson vehicle attempted to turn left and struck a fence on the east side of the roadway.
Functional damage was reported to the Richardson vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
Lieutenant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.
March 7, 7:53 a.m. - At West Will Rogers Drive and 17th Street.
Ava Barrett, 18, Kingfi sher, driving a 2012 Honda Civic, was southbound in the Kingfisher High School parking lot.
Rusty Austin, 45, Kingfi sher, driving a 1940 Chevrolet pickup, was eastbound on West Will Rogers Drive.
According to the report, the Barrett vehicle attempted to exit the parking lot, turning onto West Will Rogers and struck the Austin vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

March 13, 2:40 p.m. - At 1500 S. 13th St.
A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, was stopped in a line of cars waiting to exit the Kingfisher High School parking lot.
A 14-year-old male, Oklahoma City, driving a 1996 Ford F350, was stopped directly behind the 16-yearold’s vehicle.
According to the report, the 16-year-old female attempted to back up and struck the 14-year-old’s vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to the 16-year-old’s vehicle and minor damage to the 14-year-old’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

March 16, 12:52 p.m. At S.H. 33 and North First Street.
Sharon Horne, 60, Kingfi sher, driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, was eastbound on S.H. 33.
Courtney Butts, 20, Thomas, driving a 2013 Ford F/E, was eastbound on S.H. 33 directly behind the Horne vehicle.
According to the report, the Horne vehicle stopped and was attempting to make a left turn onto North First Street, when it was struck in the rear by the Butts vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

March 16, 4 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.
A 15-year-old male, Kingfisher, driving a 2001 Dodge 1500, was parked in the Walmart parking lot. Skylar Peterson, 18, Kingfisher, driving a 2004 Dodge SQ1, was parked in an adjacent parking space.
According to the report, the 15-year-old’s vehicle attempted to back out of the parking space and struck the Peterson vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
