Downtown Kingfisher will be full of trick-or-treaters on Tuesday afternoon and the rest of the community that night.

Downtown merchants will be handing out their treats from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Trick-or-treating in the rest of the community will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

As always, there are several other alternatives as churches and other groups have events planned that night as well as this weekend:

Sunday, Oct. 29

Kingfisher County 4-H will host its annual “Family Fright Night” at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds MACenter.

It will include a carnival with games and prizes from 2 to 3 p.m.

A costume contest will begin at 3 p.m. and there will be five different age groups beginning from newborns to 18 years old.

Adult groups can also dress up with a theme to be judged.

There will be prizes awarded for funniest, best, most original and scariest costumes.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

First Assembly of God Fall Fest: 6:30 to 9 p.m. - It will feature games, candy, hot dogs and drinks, a moonwalk plus gift cards and other prizes by drawing. See ad on Page 2 for more information.

Nazarene Church Trunk or Treat: 5 to 6:30 p.m. - Candy, inflatables, free hot dogs, chips and a drink. See ad on Page 3 to see how to be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.
