UCO offers added degrees

Students at the University of Central Oklahoma will find new choices this fall among the university’s 119 undergraduate majors, 103 minors and 81 graduate programs.

Central’s College of Business introduced a new Master of Science in finance, a 32-credit-hour degree designed for professionals who are interested in analyzing financial data for financial planning and investment decision-making.

Additionally, Central now offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design that equips students with the knowledge, skills and work needed to pursue a career as an effective designer. Also new in 2022, is an Education Specialist postgraduate degree through Central’s College of Education and Professional Studies.

The Ed.S. is a 72-credit- hour degree program, unique to the field of education, and provides knowledge and theory past a master's degree level.

Students will acquire school psychologist skills, including mental health interventions, behavioral interventions, instructional support, prevention and intervention services, crisis preparedness and recovery.
