• Kingfisher County Republican Women will continue a series of hosting gubernatorial candidates next week. The group hosts former Speaker of the Oklahoma House Charles McCall.

He will share his vision at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, at Farm Bureau Insurance, 117 W. Sheridan.

• Cimarron Electric Cooperative is set to host its 89th annual membership meeting next week. It will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

18. The Chisholm and Kingfisher County 4-H are hosting a barn dance at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds.

The family-friendly event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. It will feature live music, dancing, food and more.

This free service is held at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher and is designed to offer help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.
