Kingfisher County residents have the opportunity to check “civic duty” off their to-do list Friday or Saturday and then enjoy an early turkey feast and make headway on their Christmas lists on Sunday.

Early voting is available for county registered voters through 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m.to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds MACenter.

Then Sunday offers opportunities to destress and chow down.

The official start of the 2022 Christmas shopping season kicks off from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Kingfisher with the annual Holiday Open House at participating retailers.

But first, fortify yourself with two different options for turkey and all the trimmings.

Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church’s annual turkey dinner is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Ross Hall and Stack Grill also is serving a Thanksgiving meal.
