Voters face school, town board races
County voters will decide several school board races and one municipal race in the Feb. 8 election after candidate filing ended Wednesday, while several other school board seats were filled without opposition.
Candidates winning their respective school board seats outright included:
Okarche Seat 2 – Heather Nance. Lomega Seat 2 – Cherie A. Ingram.
Chisholm Trail Technology Center: Seat 2 (unexpired) – Rondi Andrews; Seat 4 – Loren Parham.
Drummond Seat 2 – Scot Gorton. Autry Technology Center – Donald B. Johnson.
Francis Tuttle Technology Center: Seat 4 (unexpired) – Anthony Garcia; Seat 2 – Meredith Hines.
Covington-Douglas Seat 2 – Nicholas Kramer.
Canadian Valley Technology Center Seat 4 – Jimmie Vickrey.
The following races will appear on Feb. 8 ballots:
School Board Kingfisher Seat 2: Dana Golbek;
Kingfisher Seat 2: Dana Golbek; Mitch Massey.
Dover Seat 1 (unexpired): Nathan Guinn; Sheila Holmes; Jason G. Witt.
Dover Seat 2: Adam Schilde; Matilda Caldwell.
Cashion Seat 2: Jenifer Stockton, Cashion; Chris Carroll, Guthrie; Chuck Kordis, Kingfisher.
Hennessey Seat 2: Chandra Garcia-Seiger; James M. Matousek.
Cimarron Seat 2: James Robert Lamb; Shannon Lee; Gary Naugle Jr.
Okeene Seat 2: Erica Meiseman; Mike Williams.
Crescent, Seat 2: Mark Garrett; Lisa Graff.
Piedmont, Seat 2: Tamra States; Katie Cornman; Christopher Jantz; Robin Hopkins.
If no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast in any race with more than two candidates, the top two vote-getters will advance to a runoff election in April.

Hennessey registered voters will choose between Frank Patton and David O. Jones to fill the unexpired term of Keith Meek.
