Rains that covered much of the state did their part to affect local playoff contests.

In baseball, regional tournaments that were set to begin Thursday were pushed back a day.

Cashion hosted a 2A regional that also included Minco, Walters and Ketchum.

The entirety of the double-elimination regional was moved to Friday and Saturday (after press time).

On Saturday, an elimination game will be played at noon followed by the regional championship at 2:30 p.m.

If necessary, a decisive game will be played at 5 p.m.

Kingfisher’s 4A regional at Tuttle was moved to Friday, Saturday and, if necessary, Sunday.

Class 4A girls state golf at Cushing’s Buffalo Rock was originally set for Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather moved it to Thursday and Friday.

Results of Kingfisher’s Raegan Snider and Kylie Hood at the state tournament will be in Wednesday’s edition.
