Okarche’s basketball team is making its final drive to help purchase state championship rings.

The Warriors won the Class A championship in March, the program’s first since 1979.

The team is hosting a “Rally for Rings” this Sunday, May 5, in the high school gym parking lot.

It will last from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

A hamburger and hot dog dinner will be served. The food is free, but donations will be accepted.

The high school band will perform and team introductions will be made from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

There will be two different autograph session groups. One will be from 3:30 to 4 p.m. and the other from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
