Hennessey’s ambulance service employees are now wearing Mercy Regional of Oklahoma uniforms instead of Life EMS uniforms, Town Administrator Tiffany Rowen told Hennessey trustees during their Tuesday night meeting at Town Hall.

Cashion man makes deal before felony trial begins

On the day his jury trial was set to begin, a Cashion man pleaded no contest to two felony charges in which he was accused of shooting at other individuals with a gun.Chad Gene Botchlet, 45, made his plea Monday before District Judge Paul Woodward in Kingfisher County District Court.

End of year brings growth, leadership for members

November was a busy month for the Cashion FFA Chapter as members grew through competitions and leadership activities.FFA members competing in various leadership and career development events traveled to Goodwell where they attended the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Interscholastics Contest.

Cashion Achievement Day is Saturday

The 76th annual Cashion Achievement Day events are set to kick off Saturday, Jan. 17, when several competitions will take place.By 1 p.m., all projects to be entered in the agriculture mechanics contest must be completed and submitted to the contest judge.

7 bids submitted for county road projects

Seven companies submitted bids on asphalt overlay projects on roads in Commissioner Districts 1 and 3 Monday.Commissioners tabled action at the weekly meeting to allow additional study before taking action at next week’s commission meeting.
