Karlee Torgerson has lived all around the world, but Kingfisher County is where Trail Creek Wellness Center’s newest physician assistant is choosing to put down her roots. “My dad worked in the oil field and I grew up overseas,” she said.

The Plainview HCE met Nov. 11 at Peg Kunneman’s home and the meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by President Dana Golbek. Members recited pledges to American and Oklahoma flags. Devotional was read by Peg Kunneman from the book of Revelations.

Kingfisher Rotary Club hosted four Kingfisher High School seniors at a recent meeting. Joining the civic group were Wendy Orozco Vega, Anna Gallupe, Karissa Stitt and Emma Waltman. Vega is the daughter of Gerardo Orozco and Manuela Vega.
