Kingfisher High School has kicked its annual homecoming celebration into high gear this week, courtesy the student council’s diligent planning around the safari theme of “The Jackets Win Tonight.

Former Kingfisher County resident Kylee Blehm has been named a finalist in the Young Female Entrepreneur of the Year category of the 16th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Blehm is the daughter of Kelly Bullis of Hennessey.

Chad and Allison Hurst of Hennessey announce the birth of their son, Grayson Michael Hurst. Grayson was born Sept. 4, 2019, at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City. He weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 18 1/2 inches. He has one brother, Brendon, 11.
