Gov. Kevin Stitt appointed Redlands Community College and Kingfisher High School alumnus Jason Murray to a seven-year term on the college’s Board of Regents, succeeding retired educator Dr. Juanita Krittenbrink of Okarche.

The Kingfisher County Courthouse south side parking area was roped off for construction work Monday.The City of Kingfisher is upgrading electrical service to the courthouse.Commissioners approved the upgrade earlier in the year to accommodate increased computer equipment in county offices.

Hennessey High School announced its honor rolls for the second semester of 2024-25.Students named to the Superintendent’s Honor Roll received all A’s for the semester.Those listed on the Principal’s Honor Roll received no grade lower than a B during the term.
