Twenty Northwestern Oklahoma State University senior education students recently began their student teaching assignments at local schools to gain critical hands-on experience.

Kingfisher High School seniors Cashion Laird and Scout Snodgrass are the January 2026 Junior Lions.The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.Laird is the son of Leia and Jackson Price and Spence and Tami Laird.

A total of 9,619 students were named to the 2025 fall semester honor rolls at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, including 4,462 students named to the President’s Honor Roll for earning an A grade in all their courses.
