Members of Cashion’s basketball team pose with the silver ball trophy after falling to Dale, 65-58, in last Saturday’s Class 2A championship game at State Fair Arena. Cashion finished the year with a 24-6 record. The Wildcats won the Three Rivers Conference regular season and tournament titles and were district, regional and area champions in the playoffs. They became the first Cashion boys team to reach the state championship game in basketball. Eight seniors graduate after having helped Cashion reach state three straight times.
