Read moreOne Kingfisher city commissioner took the oath of offi ce for the first time Monday while another did so for a second term of office. Pictured left is Jeff Wittrock being sworn into office by Kingfisher City Attorney Jared Harrison during the commissioners’ April meeting at City Hall. Wittrock defeated Kaci Farrar in last week’s election to fill an unexpired term for one year. On the right is Kyle Mecklenburg being sworn in. Mecklenburg won re-election last week and is beginning his second term on the commission. The city also honored two people at the meeting. For more on that, see Page 2.
