Students at last week’s basketball camp hosted by the Kingfisher High School coaching staffs work on their shooting form. Instructed by former Elks Hoop Shoot national champion Chris Combs, the campers were instructed on four key factors in consistent shooting: Balance, Eyes on target, Elbows in, Follow through. Maddy and Ian Pope of the Lomega 4-H club attended the Oklahoma Farmers Union/American Farmers and Ranchers “Day at the Capitol” on May 5. They are pictured with Sen. Darcy Jech. While at the Capitol they also met with Sen. Chuck Hall and Rep. Mike Dobrinski.
