Rep. Mike Dobrinski, R-Okeene, and Sen. Darcy Jech, R-Kingfisher recently recognized the Lomega girls basketball team for back-to-back state championships in the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The team and coaches also got to meet with Gov. They make our entire state proud.” The team currently is on a 54-game win streak after an undefeated season. Their latest win gives them a total of 15 state championships. Seven of these titles were won with the help of head coach Kevin Lewallen, who is tied for second for the most state championships in Oklahoma high school girls basketball. Also making the trip with the team were Superintendent Steve Shiever and Principal Cory Wilson. The team roster is made up of: seniors Ady Wilson, Emma Duffy, Reagan Ramer and Rhett Glazier; juniors Hensley Eaton, Shelby Russell, Allie Roberts; sophomores Darcy Roberts, Sydni Walker, Madi Myers, Hallie Barton, Rylie Glazier, Sierra Johnson and Kali Gardner; and freshmen Abby Swart, Monse Rivera, Trinity Blevins and Ariel Jones.
