Cashion’s Madelyn McCabe, left, and Kingfisher’s Ally Stephenson, right, competed against each other last weekend in the hepatathlon during the Big 12 Track & Field Championships in Norman. McCabe finished 12th for Kansas State with 4,992 points, led by a third-place finish in the high jump. Stephenson, competing for the University of Oklahoma, was 14th with 4,779 points. She took fourth in the long jump, her best showing of the seven events. Both athletes won multiple state championships for their respective high schools. [Photo provided]
