Hennessey police arrest alleged drug traffickers

A woman from Brooklyn, N.Y., and a man identified as her brother were charged with drug trafficking after police officers allegedly found more than a pound of marijuana and 30 ounces of cocaine in their vehicle during a traffic stop in Hennessey.

County OKs Big 4 driveway

Kingfisher County commissioners approved the purchase of 600 square feet of driveway in front of the Big 4 Fire Department by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to be used to add shoulders to S.H. 33. The price of $3,150 had been approved by Big 4 Fire Department earlier. The right-of-way purchase is part of an improvement project (adding shoulders to the highway) scheduled to start in coming months.
